Hairstroke brows is considered the more ‘natural’ looking of the techniques as it uses a hand tool of small needles to place colour into the skin much like a tattoo, but in the upper dermis - a more superficial layer, meaning the pigment will last up to 2 years rather than a lifetime. Once healed the pigment replicates the look of Hairstrokes under the skin.

AM I SUITABLE FOR MICROBLADING?
Hairstroke Brows using a hand-tool is most suitable for White and Mixed Race skin tones. You can also have hairstroke brows if you have dry, combination or a mid-oily skin type. Very oily skin types are not likely to retain the colour pigment as much as others, so alternative methods of SPMU are preferred.
This hand-tool method is not suitable for very mature or thinning skin. These, and Black skin tones are also more suited to the ‘Combination’ or ‘Powder’ semi-permanent method which is shown below.
